  Your Worship and Councillors:

  The Community Services Committee presents Report No. 2024-13 and recommends:

  “That:

  1. Council approve the proposed Zoning By-Law Amendment application by Tulloch Geomatics Inc. on behalf of the property owner, BBC Holdings Corporation, for a portion of an unaddressed parcel on Larocque Road in the City of North Bay legally described in Appendix A to Report to Council CSBU 2024-046, prepared by Peter Carello, dated September 18, 2024, to rezone the property from a “Residential Holding (RH)” zone and a “Residential First Density (R1)” zone to a “Residential Third Density (R3)” zone and a “Residential Multiple First Density (RM1)” zone;
  2. the proposed Plan of Subdivision application (Subdivision/Condo File No. 48T-24102) by Tulloch Geomatics Inc. on behalf of the property owner, BBC Holdings Corporation, for a portion of an unaddressed parcel on Larocque Road in the City of North Bay legally described in Appendix A to Report to Council CSBU 2024-046, as set out on Schedule “C”, to Report to Council CSBU 2024-046, as revised by the City of North Bay, be given Draft Approval subject to the conditions in Appendix C to Report to Council CSBU 2024-046 prepared by Peter Carello dated September 18, 2024; and
  3. a portion of the subject property identified as Block 50 on Schedule B to Report to Council CSBU 2024-046 be placed under Site Plan Control pursuant to Section 41 of the Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990 as amended.”

MPAC Data Sharing and Services Agreement

  1. authorize and approve the Data Sharing and Service Agreement between the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation and The Corporation of the City of North Bay; and
  2. direct the Mayor and City Clerk to execute the funding agreement that is satisfactory to the Chief Administrative Officer, Chief Financial Officer and City Solicitor.

Town Hall Meetings - City of North Bay Procedural By-Law

  Whereas Section 10 of the City of North Bay’s Procedure By-Law sets out the purpose and procedures for Town Hall Meetings.

  Therefore Be It Resolved that Council direct the City Solicitor and City Clerk to review the procedures for Town Hall meetings and bring forward suggested changes to the procedures.
