Community Services Committee

Item(s) to be Addressed:

CS 2021-19 Proposed Zoning By-law Amendment by Miller and Urso Surveying Inc. on behalf of 2808138 Ontario Inc. – 327 Dudley Avenue.

Councillor Brousseau explained the purpose of the Rezoning Application.

The City Clerk advised that notice of the meeting was given by prepaid first class mail on the 4th day of January, 2022 to all owners of property within 120 metres of the subject property and by the posting of a placard on the subject property.

Peter Carello explained the purpose of the Rezoning Application.

Councillor Brousseau asked for public presentations in support of or objecting to the Rezoning application.

Presentations:

Rick Miller, Agent for the Applicant:

• This rezoning is for the old Les Compagnons hall.
• Will be an 11 unit apartment building.
• Combination of 1 and 2 bedroom units.
• There will be an assigned parking space for each unit and an additional 6 parking spaces.
• The building is structurally sound to convert to an apartment building.
• The new apartment building will be less of a burden on the neighbourhood that what was previously there.  

CS 2021-20 Proposed Draft Plan of Condominium by Miller and Urso Surveying Inc. on behalf of New Vision Park Property Inc.

Councillor Brousseau explained the purpose of the Draft Plan of Condominium.

• This is the first of three buildings.
• The Environmental Assessment is well underway.
